EYES;

Please note that the method I

used is very crucial, you may

want to use safety eyes instead if

you nd it hard to follow.

Step 1: Draw the desirable eyes

pattern on a white cloth using

ink black pen.

Step 2: Color the eyes by drawing at the back of the cloth using

ball point pen.

Step 3: Fully coat the eyes with

transparent nail polish, front and

back.

Step 4: Cut the eyes out and glue on the face.

Leave 5 to 6 stitches between the

eyes. Before draw the eyes on

cloth, you may try to draw

dierent eyes pattern on paper,

cut it out and attach on the face

to check the nal look of the doll.

The doll will look cuter if the eyes

are in oval shape.

HAIR – FRINGE;

Using magenta yarn. We now

start to work on the fringe.

Crochet loosely to avoid over

curled hair strands. You may refer

to diagram below for a clearer

picture.

Row 1: ch 20, place a stitch

marker, continue to make ch 12

more.

Row 2: sc in all the 12 chains we

made just now, sl st in the loop

where we placed the marker. [12]

to work on the rest of the hair

strands.

Row 2: sc in all the 40 chains, sl st

in one of the loops on the 20

chains [40]

Repeat Row 5 and 6 until you

have made 13 strands.

Fasten o.

Thread a strand of same color

yarn from the start of the 20

chains to the end and

tighten it. Then, x the

middle point on top of the head

and slowly adjust the strands to

cover the head fully. As you

adjusting, use sewing pins to x

the hair strands one by one.

Lastly, use the yarn needle to sew

the hair on the head.

from top to bottom.

Rnd 1: ch 15, then, sl st to join

the rst chain.
