Amigurumi Sleepy Owl Free Pattern

In this article I will describe the amigurumi owl recipe. You can use this toy as a pillow if you want. You can give it to your loved ones as a home gift. You can also use it as your child’s sleeping pillow. If you intend to use it as a pillow, you should not use the amigurumi eyes. You can create your eyes by cutting pieces of felt fabric or you can process it on the face with rope. Your kids will love this pillow. You can also knit the owl’s eyes with amigurumi. In our recipe, eyes and nose are knitted with amigurumi techniques.

Required Materials for Amigurumi Owl;
You can use any colors you like in our Amigurumi toy. Black and white threads are used in the model we will give, but you can use 2 colors you want. As thread, I can recommend DMC Natura Just Kotton threads to you. If you can’t find it, you can check the Nako Diamond series or Kartopu Amigurumi threads. You can make a quality toy using these 3 ropes available on the market. Since our yarn will be a medium-thick yarn, you can use 2.5 mm crochet. You can use a quilt needle and nylon thread to sew the eyes and nose. You can also use a marker to make a mark. In fact, it doesn’t have to be a marker. If you want, you can fill it using bead fiber or using normal fiber.

Amigurumi Owl Recipe;
We start our amigurumi owl by knitting its body. We will not knit a separate head for our toy, we will engrave your face on this body. We start by making 8 needles into the magic ring for the body. Then, we increase it until we reach the size we want. Then, by making frequent needles, we weave the last row and fill the inside with fiber. After filling it, we close the body of the owl by making needles mutually. Then we knit 2 eyes. To sew the eyes to the face, we leave a long string and sew between 35 and 43 on the trunk. For the black parts in the last round in the eyes, we slip stitches in each loop by sinking into the last part of the white. Then we knit beak, wings and bow and finish our toy.
