Finish off leaving long tail for sewing.
Assembling:
Sew arms and legs to the body. Then sew the eyes
and hat to the head. Using the extra small (about 1.5
inch in diameter) pom-pom maker, make pom-pom
and attach it to the tip of the head.
Then cut out the moon and stars out of felt using the
templates on page 10 and sew them to the lambie’s
belly
Templates:
Using these templates, cut out the moon and the stars (one of each size).
Embroider eyes and mouth if you wish.
Then using the whip stich, sew the felt pieces to the lamb’s belly
Begin by inserting the needle though behind a felt piece. Now insert
the needle into the crocheted fabric and then through a felt applique
again. The stitches will have a diagonal slant.
Continue stitching. Try to be consistent
with the length and spacing of the stitches.
