slst + ch 1 + slst in last ch. Continue on the other side of the

next st. Leave the remaining stitches unworked.

ASSEMBLY

  • Sew the feather to the side of the hat.
  • Sew on the arms (shortened version, page 16).
  • Embroider the tassels on the chest with golden yarn
    (pictures 12-13).
  • Count 6 stitches to each side from the back center of the
    neck on Rnd 2 and use these 12 stitches to sew on the cloak
    (using the front loops of the cloak). Weave in the yarn end.
  • Position the hair on the head with the closing stitch at
    the back center of the head. The back side of the hair is
    placed a bit lower than the front side. Put the hat on.
  • Embroider cheek blushes under the eyes with light red
    yarn.
