Today, the new daily crochet pattern Amigurumi Lucy Doll Free Crochet Pattern, I want to give you some information about this pattern;

RED HEART®

“Super Saver®”: 1 skein each of 313 Aran A, 373 Petal Pink B, 579 Pale Plum C, 310 Monet D, 360 Café E, 320 Cornmeal F, 530 Orchid G, small amount each of 885 Delft Blue H, 718 Shocking Pink I (to embroider face).

Crochet Hook:

4 mm [US G-6]. Yarn needle, stuffing, 8” piece of heavy cardboard, 2” piece of heavy cardboard, small pearl beads (for earrings and necklace), heavy-duty sewing thread, elastic band (for ponytail), ½-1” white button, red crayon (to shade cheeks).

GAUGE: 20 sts = 4”; 16 rows = 4” in single crochet. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Special Stitch sc2tog = [Draw up a loop in next st] twice, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook.

Notes

1.Gauge is not critical for this project. Work tightly so stuffing will not show between stitches. 2.To change color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch. Proceed with new color. Fasten off old color.

HEAD AND BODY

Beginning at top of head, with A, ch 2.
Round 1: Work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook—6 sc. Do not join, work in continuous rounds (spirals). Place a marker for beginning of round. Move marker up as each round is completed.
Round 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around—12 sc.
Round 3: [Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times—18 sc.
Round 4: Sc in each sc around.
Round 5: [Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times—24 sc.
Round 6: Sc in each sc around.
Round 7: [Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times—30 sc.
Rounds 8–15: Sc in each sc around.
Round 16: [Sc2tog] 15 times—15 sts.
Rounds 17–19: Sc in each sc around.
Round 20: [Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc] 7 times, sc in last sc—22 sc.
Round 21: [Sc in next 10 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 2 times; change to B in last sc—24 sc. Undershirt
Rounds 22–27: With B, sc in each sc around; change to A in last sc of Round 27.

Waist
Rounds 28 and 29: With A, sc in each sc around; change to B in last sc of
Round 29. Begin Knickers
Rounds 30–35: With B, sc in each sc around. Do not fasten off. Stuff body firmly. Joining Row: Flatten lower edging, matching stitches. Working through both thicknesses, sc across to close lower edge. Fasten off B.

ARM (make 2)

Beginning at top of arm, with A, ch 2.
Round 1: Work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook—6 sc. Do not join, work in continuous rounds (spirals). Place a marker for beginning of round. Move marker up as each round is completed.
Round 2: [Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc] 3 times—9 sc.
Rounds 3–19: Sc in each sc, stuffing arm as you go.
Round 20: [Sc2tog] 3 times, sc in last 3 sc—6 sc.
Round 21: Work 2 sc in next 3 sc, sc in last 3 sc—9 sc.
Rounds 22–24: Sc in each sc around.
Round 25: [Sc2tog] 4 times, sc in last sc—5 sc. Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Stuff arm. Thread tail through stitches of last round and pull gently to close opening. Draw a strand of A through arm at elbow and pull to form elbow dimple. Sew arms to sides of body. With B, embroider a strap over each shoulder, from top front of undershirt to top back of undershirt.

EAR (make 2)
With A, ch 2. Row 1: Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Sew ears in place. Earrings With heavy-duty sewing thread, sew one pearl bead on each ear.

HAIR
Ponytail Wrap F around 8” piece of heavy cardboard 120 times. Cut one end of wraps. *Hold two strands together and fold in half, forming a loop at folded end. Insert hook around a stitch on head of doll at hairline. Place loop of folded strands on hook and draw through. Thread ends of strands through loop and pull to tighten; repeat from * around hairline, then continue to repeat from * to fill in over back of head. Draw hair neatly to middle of back of head to form a ponytail. Secure ponytail with elastic band.

Bangs
Wrap F around 2” piece of heavy cardboard 20 times. Cut one end of wraps. Attach strands across forehead hairline in same manner as ponytail strands. Trim ends of ponytail and bangs to even.

Bow
With C, ch 80. Fasten off. Tie bow around ponytail.

LEG
(make 2) Beginning at foot, with E, ch 6.
Round 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch, 3 sc in last ch; working across opposite side of foundation ch, sc in next 3 ch, 2 sc in last ch—12 sc. Do not join, work in continuous rounds (spirals). Place a marker for beginning of round. Move marker up as each round is completed.
Round 2: Work 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in each of next 3 sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in each of next 2 sc—18 sc.
Round 3: Working in back loops only, sc in each sc around.
Round 4: Sc in next 6 sc, [sc2tog] 3 times, sc in last 6 sc—15 sc. Round 5: Sc in next 3 sc, [sc2tog] 3 times, sc in last 6 sc—12 sc. Round 6: Sc in next 3 sc, [sc2tog] 3 times, sc in last 3 sc—9 sc. Rounds 7 and 8: Sc in each sc around.
Round 9: Work 2 sc in first sc, sc in each remaining sc around—10 sc.
Rounds 10–15: Sc in each sc around, stuffing leg as you go; change to A in last sc.
Rounds 16–27: With A, sc in each sc around; change to B in last sc of Round 27.
Round 28: With B, sc in each sc around. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Seam Toe
Flatten last row, matching stitches and ensuring that toe faces forward, sewing through both thicknesses, sew across.

Top of Boots (make 1 for each leg)
With E, ch 12, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch across. Fasten off. Sew around top of boot. Sew legs to bottom of body.

SKIRT
With D, ch 17. Note: Skirt is worked side to side.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 4 ch, hdc in next 5 ch, dc in last 6 ch, turn—16 sts.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in next 5 dc, hdc in next 5 hdc, sc in last 5 sc, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first 5 sc, hdc in next 5 hdc, dc in last 6 dc, turn. Rows 4–27: Repeat last 2 rows 12 times.
Row 28: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in next 5 dc, hdc in next 5 hdc, sc in next 3 sc, ch 1, skip next sc, sc in last sc (buttonhole made). Fasten off. Sew back seam from lower edge to first sc (leave top part unsewn). Sew button, opposite buttonhole.

TOP
Beginning at lower edge, with C, ch 31.

SWEATER
With G, ch 35.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch across, turn—34 sc.
Rows 2–10: Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn.
Right Front
Row 11: Ch 1, sc in first 6 sc; leave remaining sts unworked (for armholes, back and left front), turn—6 sc.
Rows 12–17: Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn. Fasten off.
Back
Row 11: Skip next 5 unworked sc following right front, join G with sc in next sc, sc in next 11 sc; leave remaining sts unworked (for armhole and left front)—12 sc.
Rows 12–17: Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn. Fasten off.
Left
Front Row 11: Skip next 5 unworked sc following back, join G with sc in next sc, sc in each remaining sc across—6 sc.

Shoulder Seam
Fold fronts over back. Beginning at side edge, sew two stitches together across each top edge for shoulder seams. Fold back unsewn front portions for collar.

Sleeve
Row 1: Join G with sc in center unworked sc at one underarm, work 20 more sc evenly spaced around armhole; do not join; turn—21 sc. Row 2: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc in next 7 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 8 sc, sc2tog, turn—18 sc.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first 8 sc, sc2tog, sc in last 8 sc, turn— 17 sc.
Row 5: Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn.
Row 6: Ch 1, sc in first 7 sc, sc2tog, sc in last 8 sc, turn— 16 sc.

FINISHING
Weave in ends. Place clothing and accessories on doll.
Embroider Face
With H, embroider satin stitch eyes. With E, embroider couched stitch eyebrows. With A, embroider satin stitch nose, With I, embroider a couched stitch smile. With red crayon, gently rub color onto face for cheeks.

Necklace

Thread pearls onto heavy-duty sewing thread. Wrap beads around neck, then tie ends of thread together and trim.
