Today, the new daily crochet pattern Amigurumi Lamb Toy Free Crochet Pattern, I want to give you some information about this pattern;

Required materials and tools:

  1. A hook suitable for your yarn (I knitted smooth No. 1.75 mm,
    invoice No. 2-2.5 mm).
  2. Filler.
  3. Eyes on a secure mount (I used 6 mm) or sewn on, glued (beads, half beads – your choice)
  4. A little black thread for embroidering the muzzle.
  5. Needle for sewing on the head and ears.
You can use yarn of your choice. I chose “Children’s Novelty” from “Pekhorka” for the paws and muzzle, and “Cotton Grass” from
“Kamteks” (mint sheep), “Adelia Valeri” (pink). Suitable for the fluffy part of “Nako Paris”, “Alize Softy”, “Adelia Sofia” and any textured yarn, not too different in thickness from the companion. And for paws and muzzles can be taken “YarnArt JEANS”, “Alize Cotton Gold”, “Gazzal Jeans” –
any similar yarn from semi-cotton, cotton, acrylic. Colors can be used by combining both similar and contrasting ones.

Legend:
magic ring – amigurumi ring
sc – single crochet
inc – increase
dec – decrease
(…)*X – repeat X times indicated in brackets
the number after the = means the number of stitches in the row

HANDS and LEGS – 2 parts each
We knit from smooth yarn.
We fill only the lower part of the arms and legs.
1 row: 6 sc in magic ring
2 row: 6 inc. = 12
3 row: (1 sc, inc) * 6 = 18
4 – 6 rows: 18 sc
7 row: (1 sc, dec) * 6 = 12
8 row: 12 sc
9 row: (2 sc, dec) * 3 = 9
10 – 23 rows: 9 sc – handles
10 – 27 rows: 9 sc – legs
Fold in half, close by knitting 4 sc.

EARS (2 parts)
We knit from smooth yarn.
1 row: 6 sc in magic ring
2 row: 6 inc. = 12
3 row: (1 sc, inc) * 6 = 18
4 – 10 rows: 18 sc
11 row: (1 sc, dec) * 6 = 12
Fold in half and knit together 6 sc. Then fold in half again and grab with a needle.

HEAD
We start the muzzle with smooth, then from textured yarn.
We stuff in the course of knitting.
Smooth yarn:
1 row: 6 sc in magic ring
2 row: 6 inc. = 12
3 row: (1 sc, inc) * 6 = 18
4 row: (2 sc, inc) * 6 = 24
5 row: (3 sc, inc) * 6 = 30
6 row: (4 sc, inc) * 6 = 36
7 row: (5 sc, inc) * 6 = 42
8 – 14 rows: 42 sc
15 row: (5 sc, dec) = 36
16 row: 36 sc
17 row: (4 sc, dec) * 6 = 30
We turn to knitting with textured yarn (I change
hook from No. 1.75mm to No. 2mm or 2.5mm, depending from yarn):
If you use eyes on a secure mount, then put them between the 17th and 18th rows (keep in mind that
the section of the row with 6 increments forms the forehead of the lamb).
Between the eyes (optional) 4-6 sc.
18 row: 12 sc, 6 inc, 12 sc = 36
19 row: (5 sc, inc) * 6 = 42
20 – 29 rows: 42 sc
30 row: (5 sc, dec) * 6 = 36
31 row: (4 sc, dec) * 6 = 30
32 row: (3 sc, dec) * 6 = 24
33 row: (2 sc, dec) * 6 = 18
34 row: (1 sc, dec) * 6 = 12
34 row: 6 dec
Close to the end, hide the thread inside the head.

BODY
We knit from textured yarn
We stuff in the course of knitting.
1 row: 6 sc in magic ring
2 row: 6 inc. = 12
3 row: (1 sc, inc) * 6 = 18
4 row: (2 sc, inc) * 6 = 24
5 row: (3 sc, inc) * 6 = 30
6 row: (4 sc, inc) * 6 = 36
7 row: (5 sc, inc) * 6 = 42
8 – 15 rows: 42 sc
We knit the legs in the 8th (or 9th row, if desired), 4
sc together with leg, 17 sc between legs
16 row: (5 sc, dec) * 6 = 36
17 row: 36 sc
18 row: (4 sc, dec) * 6 = 30
19 row: 30 sc
20 row: (3 sc, dec) * 6 = 24
21 row: 24 sc
22 row: (2 sc, dec) * 6 = 18
23 – 24 rows: 18 sc
We knit the handles in the 24th row, parallel to the bottom (4sc together with the leg, between the legs 5 sc each).
25 – 27 rows: 18 sc.
Finish knitting at the back, in the middle of the back, leaving thread for sewing on the head.
Sew the head to the body. Sew on from the bottom front loops on the border of the row with textured yarn (so that the head is slightly tilted forward).
Sew ears no higher than eye level, to your taste.
For tying the ponytail visually choose a place by the center of the back of the body, I insert the hook into the canvas, I dial a chain of 7-8 air loops and return along the chain with half-columns with a crochet. I fix
both threads and hide inside the toy.
If you want, you can comb the body and head.

Your toy is ready!
