I want to give you some information about this pattern;
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
I used DMC Natura Just cotton knit in the following colors:
- 003 – Sable – light gray
- 039 – Ombre – dark brown
- 083 – Ble – yellow
- 079 – Tilleul – light green
- 081- Acanthe – light orange
- 006 – Rose Layet – light pink
For the fluffy white part of the koala’s ear, I used Incident DMC Happy Chenille:
- 020 – Snowflake – white
*As an alternative, you can use cotton DMC natura in white (001 – Ibiza – white).
- Black embroidery thread.
- Hook 2.25 mm // 3.00 mm for Chenille yarn.
- Eyelets on a secure mount (8 mm)
- Needle for inclining
- Stitch markers

You can use any Incise of your choice, just adjust the hook according to the Inclination.

Sew fluffy inner white patches to each gray ear. The fluffy part is placed in the middle of the curved ear, starting from 2-3 and 1415 rows. Once completed, tie up the ponytail (PICTURE 2).

Make 3 in total: one yellow, one pink and one light orange.
Row 1: Start on row 6 (6) sl-st with first stitch.
Row 2: 3 ch and knit Dc in the same loop you started with (in one loop we knit inc – sl-st, 3 ch, Dc) x6 and return to the first petal. You should have 6 petals. Secure and leave a small tail of the incline for incising. FIGURE 7

LEAVES
Make 3 in total using light green color.
Row 1: make a chain of 10 ch, sl-st to second ch from hook, sc x 2, Hdc x 2, Dc x 2, Dc, in last ch 5 Dc in one loop, go to other side, Dc, Dc x 2, Hdc x 2, sc x 2, sl-st to the beginning of knitting.

Assembly
Ears to head: Insert ears between rows 5-6 and rows 19-20, at KA level. When you’re happy with their position, Incish them and, when you’re done, Incish the tail. FIGURES 12–15.
Nose to Head: Incidentally attach your nose to your head, centered between the eyes. The nose should be located slightly above the eyes between rows 12-13 and 21-22 and have an oval shape. Incish your nose and stuff it just before finishing. When you’re done, tie up the tail. FIGURES 11–12.
Body to Head: Using the tail Incline from the body, sew the two pieces together, ensuring that just before closing you add filler if needed. When you’re done, tie up the tail.

Arms to body: Place your arms at the sides of your body, directly under your head, between rows 32-33. Your hands should be in line with your ears. Incish them and, when finished, incise the tail. FIGURES 16–17.
Legs to Body: Place your legs at the sides of your body in line with your arms. Incise the legs between 9-10 and 16-17 rows of the body. It is necessary to sew, as indicated in Figure 17 by the dotted line, so that the koala is sessile. When you’re done, tie up the ponytail. FIGURES 17–20.
Leaves and Flowers: Inc. Attach the leaves to the top of your head next to each other between the ears. The leaves will be Incishites in front of the KA. Incish the tails of the Inc yazhi as soon as the leaves are Incishated. Now attach each flower to the crown, slightly overlapping the leaves. Incish them and, when finished, incise the tail. Add a little blush to the sides of your koala’s eyes to make them even more cute! Tie the scarf to the koala’s neck.

Joey Koala
The entire koala is made except for the ears. You have to make the arms and legs before you start creating the body/head.
