PART 1: Doll
Join rounds with a slip stitch and chain 1. Use 1.5 mm hook.
Round 1: with ecru 8 sc in a mr – 8 sts
Round 2: 8 inc – 16 sts
Round 3: (sc, inc) x 8 – 24 sts
Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 8 – 32 sts
Round 5: (3 sc, inc) x 8 – 40 sts
Rounds 6 – 14: sc around – 40 sts (9 rounds)
Round 15: (3 sc, dec) x 8 – 32 sts
Round 16: (2 sc, dec) x 8 – 24 sts
Round 17: (sc, dec) x 8 – 16 sts
Stuff the head well. Do not stuff too firm because later we will make
indentations for the eyes.
Round 18: 8 dec – 8 sts
Change color – red
Round 19: 8 inc – 16 sts
Round 20: (sc, inc) x 8 – 24 sts
Rounds 21 – 24: sc around – 24 sts (3 rounds)
Change color – black
Rounds 25 – 26: sc around – 24 sts
Change color – red
Rounds 27 – 29: sc around – 24 sts
Round 30: 1 sc in next 4 sts
We are only crocheting 4 sts in Round 30 so that we can move the beginning stitch for the first leg

Stuff the body well. Mark 6 sts in the middle (3 in the back and 3 in the front of the body) and leave 9 sts
on either side of the body for legs.
Crochet the legs in spiral.

Leg 1: Continue from where you stopped with the body
Round 1: 1 sc in next 8 sts. Skip the next 15 sts and 1 sc in the 16th st – 9 sts
Round 2: 1 sc in each st – 9 sts
Stuff well.
Round 3: 4 dec, 1 sc in last – 5 sts
Fasten off.

Leg 2: attach red thread 2 sts away from the thread marking your 6 middle sts. 1 sc in same st where you
joined (counts as 1st st of round)
Round 1: 1 sc in 8 sts (make sure to skip the 6 sts in the middle) – 9 sts
Round 2: 1 sc in each st – 9 sts
Stuff well.
Round 3: 4 dec, 1 sc in last – 5 sts
Fasten off and secure the stitches. Sew the 6 stitches between the legs.

Belt: Finish off the belt with yellow thread. The yellow part is a rectangle and it is sewn on the black
rounds of the body (middle front) and 3 stitches across. I sewed twice in each to make it thicker.

Arms (x 2):
Crochet in spiral.
Round 1: with ecru 6 sc in a mr – 6 sts
Round 2: sc around – 6 sts
Change color – red
Rounds 3 – 8: sc around
Leave a long tail for sewing and fasten off.
Sew the arms between Rounds 20 and 21.
Because the arms on my doll were sticking out, I sewed a couple of times Round 6 of the arms to the
corresponding round of the body.

PART 2: Face

Eyes (x 2):
Use DMC cotton perle black thread with a 1 mm hook.
Round 1: with black 6 sc in a mr; sl st to join and ch 1 – 6 sts
Round 2: (1 sc in 2 sts, 3 hdc in next) x 2; sl st to join – 10 sts
Leave a tail and fasten off.
With DMC cotton perle 12, white sew several times over a stitch at the top of the eye and then the bottom.
Make the white part as bigger as you wish.
The eyes are sewn on Rounds 9 – 12, about 5 stitches apart.
I attached the eyes using the tails from creating each eye. Insert one tail through a stitch and a second tail
through the stitch right next to the first one. Tie a knot pulling tight to create a slight indentation and
stuff the ends in the head.
Use glue to secure the eyes where they have not been sewn to the head.
Once the eyes are attached and secured, press them to make the indentation bigger.

Nose:
The nose is sewn between Rounds 11 and 12, taking 4 stitches between the eyes.
The nose is sewn using the bullion stitch. Wrap the thread around the needle 13 times.
Secure the ends by inserting them through the neighboring stitches, tying a knot, and stuffing the excess
thread inside the head.

PART 3: Hair and Beard

Hair:
Crochet in spiral.
Round 1: with white 8 sc in a mr – 8 sts
Round 2: 8 inc – 16 sts
Round 3: (sc, inc) x 8 – 24 sts
Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 8 – 32 sts
Round 5: (3 sc, inc) x 8 – 40 sts
Rounds 6 – 11: sc around – 40 sts (6 rounds)
TIP: Put on the doll and see if you like how the doll looks so far. If you think you need another round,
make an extra round and then continue with Round 12.
Round 12: 1 sc in 5 sts, 1 hdc in 5 sts, 1 dc in 5 sts, 1 trbl in 3 sts, ch 1 and sl st in next, ch 1 and 1 trbl in
next 3 sts, 1 dc in 5 sts, 1 hdc in 5 sts, 1 sc until the end or Round 12 – 40 sts
DO NOT fasten off. We will continue with the beard from we stopped with the hair. But make sure to
secure that last stitch somehow so it does not unravel.
Place the hair on the head and position it to where you’d like it to stay (I like the part to be a little to one
side). I glued the top of the hair to the head, so it doesn’t move around.
After you have positioned the hair to the head and secured it, continue sc from where you stopped. 1 sc in
each stitch until you get to the stitch that’s about the same level as the middle of the eyes.
ch 15 and sl st to the other side of the hair, again in the stitch that’s about at the middle of the eyes
Turn and sl st in the next st of the hair
Sk 1 ch and 2 hdc in next ch
2 hdc in 12 chains
sk 1 ch and sl st in the st right before the st where you started the beard.
Leave a tail for sewing.
Before you secure the beard, lift it up and add blush to the cheeks. Carefully bring down the beard and add
a little bit of glue to the corners to secure it.
Sew or glue the hair and secure the ends.

PART 4: Hats

Note: Join rounds with a sl st and ch 1 when making the hats.
Leprechaun Hat:
Round 1: with green 8 sc in a mr – 8 sts
Round 2: 8 inc – 16 sts
Round 3: (sc, inc) x 8 – 24 sts
Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 8 – 32 sts
Round 5: (3 sc, inc) x 8 – 40 sts
Round 6: (9 sc, inc) x 4 – 44 sts
Rounds 7 – 10: sc around – 44 sts (4 rounds)
Change color – goldenrod (or yellow)
Rounds 11 – 12: sc around – 44 sts ( 2 rounds)
Change color – green
Round 13: (10 sc, inc) x 4 – 48 sts
Round 14: (5 sc, inc) x 8 – 56 sts
Round 15: (6 sc, inc) x 8 – 64 sts
Round 16: sl st around – 64 sts
Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Santa Hat:
I used the beginning tail to sew rounds 10 and 28 together so the hat stays folded.
Round 1: with white 8 sc in a mr – 8 sts
Round 2: 8 inc – 16 sts
Rounds 3 – 6: sc around – 16 sts (4 rounds)
Stuff well before finishing the next round (Round 7).
Round 7: 8 dec – 8 sts
Change color – red
Round 8: sc around – 8 sts
Round 9: (sc, inc) x 4 – 12 sts
Round 10: sc around – 12 sts
Round 11: (2 sc, inc) x 4 – 16 sts
Round 12: sc around – 16 sts
Round 13: (3 sc, inc) x 4 – 20 sts
Round 14: sc around – 20 sts
Round 15: (4 sc, inc) x 4 – 24 sts
Round 16: sc around – 24 sts
Round 17: (5 sc, inc) x 4 – 28 sts
Round 18: sc around – 28 sts
Round 19: (6 sc, inc) x 4 – 32 sts
Round 20: sc around – 32 sts
Round 21: (7 sc, inc) x 4 – 36 sts
Round 22: sc around – 36 sts
Round 23: (8 sc, inc) x 4 – 40 sts
Round 24: sc around – 40 sts
Round 25: (9 sc, inc) x 4 – 44 sts
Round 26: sc around – 44 sts
Round 27: (10 sc, inc) x 4 – 48 sts
Rounds 28 – 30: sc around – 48 sts (3 rounds)
Change color – white
Rounds 31 – 34: sc around – 48 sts
Fasten off. Weave in all ends except for 2 (the beginning tail and one other). Fold the hat and sew Rounds
10 and 28 together. Insert both ends through the same stitch. Tie a knot and stuff inside the hat (where
folded so it doesn’t show).

PART 5: Easter Bunny

Follow the doll pattern for the Leprechaun/Santa. Make the eyes
and nose the same way (except I sewed a line going down 3
rounds the middle of the nose).

Ears (x 2):
Crochet in spiral.
Round 1: with light yellow 8 sc in a mr – 8 sts
Round 2: 8 inc – 16 sts
Round 3 – 9: sc around – 16 sts
Leave a long tail for sewing and fasten off.
Fold the bottom and sew it flat. Refer to the 2nd and 3rd pictures.
Then fold the bottom in half and sew both ends together. Refer to
the 4th picture.
Set aside.

Head Piece:
Join rounds with a slip stitch and chain 1. Use 1.5 mm hook.
Round 1: with light yellow 8 sc in a mr – 8 sts
Round 2: 8 inc – 16 sts
Round 3: (sc, inc) x 8 – 24 sts
Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 8 – 32 sts
Round 5: (3 sc, inc) x 8 – 40 sts
Round 6: (9 sc, inc) x 4 – 44 sts
Rounds 7 – 13: sc around – 44 sts (9 rounds)
Once you have sewn the eyes and nose, place the head piece on the
head and decide where you will sew the ears (I always eyeball
everything ). I sewed the ears over the magic ring hole.
Finish the head piece with Round 14 while it is on the head.
Round 14: sl st around
Fasten off and weave in the ends. I glued the headpiece to the head
in a few places.

Bow:
With light pink ch 7
Row 1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc until end of row; ch 1 and turn – 6 sts
Rows 2 – 23: sc in each st; ch 1 and turn – 6 sts
Row 24: sc in each st
Leave a long tail for sewing and fasten off.
Sew both ends together. The place where you sewed the two ends, should be at the middle back of the bow.
Wrap thread around the middle to shape the bow and tie a knot at the end.
Glue to the bunny. (I glue because I am lazy. But if you are giving this to a little child, it’s better to sew it)

Tail:
Join rounds.
Round 1: with light yellow 6 sc in a mr – 6 sts
Round 2: 6 inc – 12 sts
Rounds 3 – 5: sc around – 12 sts
Leave a long tail for sewing and fasten off.
Sew it to the back of the bunny, about a round above the legs.
