With MC and smaller hook, ch 2.

3rd rnd: Ch 1. *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 24 sc.
4th rnd: Ch 1. *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 32 sc.
5th rnd: Ch 1. *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 40 sc.
6th rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. Rep last rnd 10 times more.

BUNNY HAT
With A and larger hook, ch 34.
1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 33 sc.
2nd to 8th rows: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.
9th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 11 sc. (Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc) twice. Sc2tog. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn. 30 sts. 10th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each st to end of row. Turn.
11th row: Ch 1. *1 sc in next sc. Sc2tog. Rep from * to end of row. 20 sts.
12th row: As 10th row.
13th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. (Sc2tog) 6 times. 1 sc in each of last 4 sc. Turn. 14 sts.
14th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. (Sc2tog) 4 times. 1 sc in each of last 3 sc. Fasten off, leaving a long end. Sew back of Hat closed.

Hat Neckband: 1st row: With RS of Hat facing, join A with sl st to bottom corner of Hat. Ch 1. Work 32 sc evenly along bottom straight edge of Hat. Ch 5. Sl st in last sc worked (button loop made). Turn. 2nd row: Ch 1. *1 sc in each of next 7 sc. 2 sc in next sc. Rep from * to end of row. 36 sc. Fasten off. Sew button to correspond to button loop.

EARS (make 2)
With A and smaller hook, ch 4.
1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 3 sc.
2nd row: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. 1 sc in next sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn. 5 sc.
3rd to 10th rows: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.
11th row: Ch 1. Sc2tog. 1 sc in next sc. Sc2tog. Turn. 3 sts.
12th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each st to end of row. Turn.
13th row: Ch 1. Sc3tog. Do not fasten off. Ch 1. Working around outside edge of Ear, work 1 rnd sc, having 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off. Attach Ears to top of Bunny Hat as shown in picture.

DRESS
Note: Ch 2 does not count as hdc at beg of rnd or row. With A and larger hook, ch 27. Join with sl st to first ch, taking care not to twist ch.
1st rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each ch around. Join with sl st to first sc. 27 sc.
2nd rnd: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. 2 dc in each sc around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. 54 dc.

Beg working in rows:

BELLY
With MC and larger hook, ch 5.

2nd rnd: Ch 2. 2 hdc in first sc. 1 hdc in each of next 2 sts. 2 dc in each of next 3 sts. 1 hdc in each of next 2 sts. 2 hdc in each of last 2 sts. Join with sl st to first hdc. 16 sts.
3rd rnd: Ch 2. 2 hdc in first st. 1 hdc in each of next 4 sts. 2 dc in each of next 4 sts. 1 hdc in each of next 4 sts. 2 hdc in each of last 3 sts. Join with sl st to first hdc. 24 sts. Fasten off. Sew Belly to front of Dress as shown in picture.

BASKET
With B and smaller hook, ch 2.
1st rnd: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st to first sc.
2nd rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. 12 sc.
3rd rnd: Ch 1. *1 sc in next sc. 2 sc in next sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 18 sc.
4th rnd: Ch 1. Working in back loops only, 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc.
5th rnd: Ch 1. Working through both loops, 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. Rep last rnd twice more.

Handle: Ch 7. Miss next 8 sc. Join with sl st to next sc. Turn. Sl st in each ch to end of ch. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

EGGS (make 2)
With smaller hook and small amount of contrast yarn, ch 2.
1st rnd: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st to first sc.
2nd rnd: (2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc) twice. Join with sl st to first sc. 8 sc.
3rd to 5th rnds: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. Stuff Egg lightly.
6th rnd: Ch 1. (Sc2tog) 4 times. Join with sl st to first s c. 4 sts. Fasten off leaving a long end. Thread end through rem loops and draw up securely.

FINISHING
Hair fringe: Cut a piece of tape 5″ [12.5 cm] long and secure onto a flat surface with sticky side up. Cut lengths of B 11″ [28 cm] long and lay them across tape so strip of tape is in center of yarn. Holding tissue paper over top of yarn and using sewing machine, run a line of stitching along length of tape. Remove tape and tissue paper when hair is secure. Pin fringe to center of head. Using backstitch and B, sew hair into place along sewn line. Rep previous steps with 2″ [5 cm] piece of tape and
20″ [51 cm] lengths of yarn. Pin to front of hair-line to create bangs. Sew Head to Body. Sew top of Legs closed using whip st. Sew to bottom of Body as shown in picture. Attach Arms to sides of Body. With black embroidery floss, embroider eyelashes. Sew beads to front of Head for eyes. With red embroidery f loss, embroider mouth.
