Useful Tips
- All amigurumi toys are crocheted with tight stitches. Avoid small holes. If there are any
holes through which stuffing material can be seen, use a smaller size hook. (Use a smaller
hook size than is recommended on the label of the yarn.) - To avoid seams, all rounds are worked in acontinuous spiral. Do not join or turn it unless
otherwise instructed. - Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the last stitch of every round.
- Stuff your amigurumi as you go. It is very hard to stuff the detail evenly when it is
almost finished. While stuffing do not forget to shape the body parts to give them a nice accurate shape. Never over stuff them.

the head.
Eyes
Insert a pin in the middle of R9. Count 4sc to the left and the right side to make the eyes. It is a 4
stitches wide V shape.

Dress:
Use blue yarn and work in rows.
- R1 Ch32 and start to crochet in the 3rd stitch from the hook:30hdc, ch1 and turn,
- R2 30sc, ch1 and turn
- R3 6sc, ch8 and skip 4 stitches 10sc, ch8 and skip 4 stitches, 6sc, ch1 and turn
- R4 6sc and 8sc into the ch8, 10sc and 8sc into the ch8, 6sc (Cut the yarn.)
- Use mustard or gold color yarn and sl every stitch onto R4

Take a 1meter long and 20cm wide tulle. Start to fold the tulle like a fan. If you find the skirt too transparent you can use more layers of tulle.

Use runner stitch to secure the tulle. Make sure the tulle is the same wide as the crocheted part.
Sew together the two parts carefully. Dress up the doll, and sew the back of the dress
(crocheted part only!) together. First, I secure it with a pin, it was easier to sew the ends
together.

Hair base:
- R1 Start with dark brown yarn. Mc (6sc) (6)
- R2 BLO (inc) x6 (12)
- R3 (1sc, inc) x6 (18)

When you made your last stitch, crochet a sl. Do not cut the yarn, continue with the hair strands.

Style the Hair
Place the hair on the head. (The magic circle of the base has to be on top of the hole of the head.)
Secure it with a pin in the middle.
Gather the 15 pieces hair strands. Secure the hair with more pins. Now you can sew the base of the hair onto the head.

(I used a piece of yarn to tie up the hair, but you can use a rubber band or anything you like.)
The next step is to pin every hair strand onto the head, Sew the longer hair strand onto the head
only using the hdc part. Fringe: stitch onto the head with few stitches
If you do not like to sew you can use fabric glue. But sewing gives nicer result. When you finish,
just let the hair down. See the pictures.
Wing
First crochet the feathers. Start with white yarn. Make sure you crochet tight stitches and keep
working in rounds.

Sl, Cut the yarn. Leave a longer piece of tail for sewing. Close the hole.

Halo
Take a little plastic cup. (Same size diameter as the head.) Cut the rim of.

Take mustard or golden color yarn and crochet sc around the plastic rim. Make sure your stitches
are tight. Also the sc are not too far from each other, covering the plastic.

The end close it with a sl and cut the yarn. Leave enough yarn to sew the halo onto the head.

Lift up the hair and pin the halo onto the middle of the head, make sure is symmetric from the
front side too. Front side of the halo is pointing upwards. Sew the halo onto the head with few
stitches.
Now you can pin the wings onto the back of the doll. Sew them onto the dress, make sure they are
symmetrical. I also put the ribbon on to see the wings are not to close.
