The Angel Wings are an add-on crochet pattern for the Sweet Handfuls Dolls. The Doll pattern
(which comes with the Hospital Set) is sold separately. Included with the Hospital Set is the
pattern for the hat, booties, diaper, and pacifier which can be made in pink, blue, or white,
depending on your preference, as shown in the photos in this pattern.
The Angel Wings are made with the same size yarn and hook as the doll was made with. If you
made your doll with size 2 yarn, and a 1.5mm hook, the wings will also be made with size 2
yarn, and a 1.5mm hook. If you made your doll with size 4 yarn, and a 3.25mm hook, for
example, then the wings will also be made with size 4 yarn, and a 3.25mm hook.
The wings are started with a magic ring, but then using a turning chain, they will be worked
back and forth in semi-circular rows.

Arm Straps (make 2)

Measure wings to doll, lining up behind the
doll’s back. Top of wings should fall just below
the ears. Determine where the top of each
strap should go (in line with the top of each
shoulder.)

Attach yarn by inserting hook through a spot on
the wings where the top of the strap will go, and
pulling up a loop.
Ch 10 to form edge of strap.
With wings facing back and upside down, 2sc to
bottom of wing where bottom of strap will go
(under arm).
10sc (back up the 10 chs), slst into spot (or near it)
where you originally pulled up the loop and
started chaining (where top of strap goes.)

The back side of your 10sc will face out.
Finish off. Sew in ends, making sure that the
strap is secure.

Repeat on other side, so that there is a left
strap and a right strap
